Terms of Service
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Journey West: Celestial Defense (the “Game”) and this official website. By downloading, installing, or playing the Game, or by using this website, you agree to these Terms.
1. License
We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and play the Game for entertainment on devices you own or control, subject to these Terms and any store or platform rules that apply to your download.
2. Accounts and progress
Gameplay progress is primarily stored locally on your device. You are responsible for backing up your device if you wish to keep progress. We are not liable for progress lost due to device failure, uninstalls, OS updates, or cleared storage.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Cheat, hack, reverse engineer, or modify the Game except as allowed by applicable law
- Disrupt servers, services, or other players where online features exist
- Use the Game or website for unlawful, infringing, or abusive purposes
- Misrepresent your identity when contacting support
4. Virtual items
In-game currencies, heroes, rewards, and similar items have no real-world cash value outside the Game unless required by law. Purchases, if any, are handled by the platform you use (for example an app store) and are subject to that platform’s refund rules.
5. Intellectual property
The Game, website, names, artwork, audio, code, and related materials are owned by us or our licensors. These Terms do not transfer ownership to you. You may not copy, redistribute, or commercially exploit the Game or site content without prior written permission.
6. Third-party services
The Game or website may link to or integrate third-party services (stores, ads, analytics, social share). Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party content or practices.
7. Disclaimer
The Game and website are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, progress, profits, or goodwill arising from your use of the Game or website.
9. Termination
We may suspend or end access to online features or distribution of the Game if you breach these Terms or if we discontinue the service. You may stop using the Game at any time by uninstalling it.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms periodically. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
